The Catholic Daughters next meeting will be Monday, May 4. Up and coming events are the Annual Plant sale the weekend of May 2 & 3 in the Church yard. We need help setting up and taking down. If you can help please let me know. We are also going to be at the Street Fair in the Village on June 6. If you are not a member please consider joining our group. We have fun, we do fund raising but most of all we are Women of Faith, Unity, Charity and we have coffee and usually too many goodies before the meeting starts. Please join us on May 4. From its inception in 1903, Catholic Daughters of the Americas has grown and developed into the largest organization of Catholic women in the Americas. Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, its members are united by their faith in Jesus Christ, in their devotion to the church and the Holy See. The purposes of the organization are to participate in the religions, charitable and educational Apostolates of the Church. Catholic Daughters of the Americas engage in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world. Catholic Daughters of the Americas strive to embrace the principal of faith through love in the promotion of justice, equality the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.
