This will also enable us to verify your donation should it be necessary for tax purposes. To request envelopes or to notify us of your change of address, please call, email, or make an online request for envelopes.
IN HONOR OF THE DECEASED | There are several ways to donate in honor and memory of the deceased. Families may request that a particular charity be the recipient of memorial gifts in lieu of flowers. The charity could be a research center for a cure to a disease, a non-profit or charitable organization, or a church community like ours. Please let us know how we can help.
ESTATE PLANNING | Please remember our Parish when you write or review your Will or Trust. If you are considering to leave a charitable bequest to our church, you may ask your attorney to include such language: "I give, devise or bequeath to Church of the Holy Rosary, in Greenwood Lake, NY, for its general purposes, all (or state fraction or percentage) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, whether real or personal." or
"I give to Church of the Holy Rosary in Greenwood Lake, NY,
the sum of $_____ to be used for the general good works of the Parish"
CARDINAL'S APPEAL I The Cardinals Appeal was established in 1979. Prior to 1979, it was known as the Catholic Charities Appeal. The name change signified an increase in the scope of the effort from not only charities, but to what the Appeal is today: the financial support of the pastoral, educational and charitable works of the Archdiocese. In 2010, then Archbishop Timothy Dolan changed the name to The Stewardship Appeal. “Stewardship” asks that donors demonstrate their thanks to God for their many blessings by making an offering of their time, talent and treasure to the Church. Upon his elevation to the College of Cardinals in 2012, the campaign once again became the Cardinal’s Annual Appeal.
